HGSW FACILITY

Haida Gwaii Serenity Warriors are made up with men and women that have battled addiction, were in recovery for a period of time, and now devoted their lives towards helping the members of Haida Gwaii. Our goal is to have 2 locations in Masset B.C. First House, will be developed into a Men’s recovery house solely assisting the community members of Haida Gwaii. The second house will be built into an aftercare housing facility assisting the clients that may have graduated from our recovery house, or have recently come back from treatment. The housing crisis on Haida Gwaii is high and local residents are having a challenging time obtaining housing. This is even more difficult for those in active addiction or recently getting into recovery.

Haida Gwaii Serenity Warriors will be a haven, where one can unwind your mind and focus on getting better. Our facility has a treatment plan for Haida Gwaii community members, all designed with your comfort in spirit, mind and body. After getting out of detox (If necessary) a client will immediately start working on getting better and developing the way of living they thrive to have. We don't only assist clients with addiction recovery; after a short amount of time we provide long term housing, encouraging clients to find jobs and be able to move on from the trauma of the past, being present and looking forward to the future.
